Events to Look Forward To: Fall 2017
Welcome back to
Glassboro, Profs! With a new semester comes new events to look forward to with Rowan Campus Recreation. We have several big events coming up, here are a few:
Queenax
Small Group Fitness Classes
Day and Time: Mondays & Thursdays: 5:30pm-6:15pm,
Tuesdays & Fridays: 12:15pm-1:00pm
Location: Rowan Fitness Center
Description: Excite and energize your workout with our small
group classes using our featured Queenax functional training system.
Instructors will provide a workout experience that is fun, versatile,
challenging, motivating and never the same twice.
***All Queenax Small Group Fitness Classes will be
free the month of September***
Fall
Into Fitness
Dates: Monday 9/25 – Friday 11/3
Location: Rowan Rec Center
Description: Fall Into Fitness is an incentive program run by
the Rec Center to encourage members to exercise through various group
fitness classes.
Additional Information:
· Sign up for this program with one of our Program
Monitors
· Take at least 15 different group fitness classes
(about 3 per week) over the course of 5 weeks and earn a t-shirt and a chance
to win a Spring Group Fitness pass, a high-speed blender, or Rec Center Gym
Bag!
Weight
Training 101
Date: Wednesday September 27th at Rec Center, Tuesday
October 3rd at Fitness Center
Time: 7:00pm-8:30pm

· This program is FREE!
· Space is limited, register ahead of time!
Homecoming
Battleship
Date: Wednesday October
11th
Time: 9:00pm-11:00pm
Location: Rowan Rec
Center Pool

Doors open at 8:00pm

Registration deadline is Friday
September 29th at 11:59pm on IMLeagues.

Teams will still be able to register
the week of 9/29-10/6 if space is available, but there will be a $5 added late
fee.

Unified
Trail Run: 5k run or 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Date: Sunday, October 22nd
Time: 10:00am-2:00pm
Additional Information:
· All proceeds go to Special Olympics
· Open to both students and community members ($15 for students, $30 for community)
13th
Annual Northeast Regional Dodgeball Tournament
Date: Saturday December 9th
Time: 8:00am-6:00pm
Location: Rowan Rec
